A friend linked me to this wonderful guy and I wholeheartedly support the cause he is presenting. I work with kids that have very deprived lives, unable to engage in normal school life because of problems at home or because of learning difficulties. Art is the way I engage all my students - it s a medium that they all work enthusiastically in and are able to express so much through. I am going to try and convince the school to put together a project to link to artinallofus to show that even in the supposedly prosperous UK, children are living in abject poverty and deprivation and that these children deserve a chance to shine - and through art I think this opportunity may be it.
